Nominees must be . . .

• Licensed and currently teaching fulltime in an accredited public or non-public junior/middle high school
• Have taught a minimum of six years in New Mexico
• Committed to continue teaching PK-12 in New Mexico for a minimum of two years after receiving the award
• Nominated no later than NOVEMBER 27, 2008

Golden Apple Award includes . . .

• Paid professional development
• $1,500 cash award
• Membership in the prestigious Golden Apple Academy
• Annual professional development with other Golden Apple winners
• Opportunities to give back to the profession through mentoring future teachers in the Golden Apple Scholars Program

Please Note:
Only one nomination per teacher is necessary. Nominee will receive an application.
You may not nominate yourself.
Foundation board members, staff, and their families are ineligible.
